About the Event
New York, NY., USA – The Community Initiatives of NY (TCIONY) will present a Fatherhood & Parenting Event; Fathering & Parenting Through the Pandemic on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 6:30-8:30pm.
This Fatherhood Event is geared to target issues that fathers and men continue to face throughout our society and bring about the necessary healing, resolution and education.
This Conference will equip men from all walks of life with the necessary tools and resources to support them fulfil their required responsibilities.
“Our Father’s and men need a platform to be edified, enriched, encouraged and strengthened,” say’s Al Cohen, Executive Director of TCIONY. “Real Dads are Day to Day” Cohen emphasizes.
The Confirmed Panelist include
1.) Mathew Knowles – Father of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles
2.) NYPD Chief Rodney Harrison – Chief of Department
3.) Dr. Jeff Gardere – America’s Psychologist
4.) Derek Phillips – Founder and Executive Director of “Real Dads Network”
5.) Thabiti Boone – Former representative of President Barack Obama’s Fatherhood Initiative
The event will be live (limited seating first come first serve) and all CDC guidelines will be followed as the participants and panelist safety are of the upmost important to TICONY. There is a $10.00 donation request that will go towards TCIONY’s youth program T.A.G night #YOUTHSPEAKS – Teaching a Generation.
